As of the 1996 holiday season, BeachMarks is delighted to provide electronic greeting cards that offer the possibility of music. Many card users will be able to enjoy this music if they own computers that have an audio component and speakers (which are turned on) and are using Browers that are capatable with MIDI.
MIDI (pronounced middy) is an acronym for Musical Instrument Digital Interface. Originally developed by the electronic music industry a number of years ago, the MIDI feature is available on some Macs and PCs allowing them to edit, store and play musical sound information.

MIDI may not be available on Unix systems.
